Meet Jesus

The focus of this entire blog is on finding the shalom (peace) of God in life.  I am on this journey, only because I have made a decision to look to God for peace, and not anyone or anything else.

This blog would be pointless if I didn’t make it clear to begin with the entire reason I have peace, and am finding peace daily.

The answer comes in the form of a person and a relationship with a person.  The person is Jesus and the relationship is with God through Jesus.  I have found that my relationship with the Lord, daily trusting Him, learning His ways, loving Him, and responding to His love, has given me the peace I need to get through all of my days – through good times and bad, through trials and triumphs.  Jesus has been there for me, seeing me through, giving me the peace I ask for and more.

Which other god or religion claims to love you back?

I have only found true peace because of the One who created me, who also loves me back.

If you’re not sure, or you know for a fact that you don’t really know who Jesus is, let me reassure you that getting to know Him is a very intricate, yet simple process.

No worries!

Jesus wants to meet you too.

He not only wants to meet with you every single day of your life, but He wants to answer your prayers, make your crooked paths straight, and be your protection and peace.

In other words, Jesus wants to be part of every aspect of your life.

The Prayer:

Jesus, please come into my heart right now.

I confess that I am a sinner.

I know that I need a Savior.

You died for me on the cross. I believe it.

You shed you blood for me. I can be washed clean because of it.

You call me Your friend. I don’t deserve it. But I accept it.

I need a new start.

Please wipe my slate clean.

You rose again from the dead. I believe it.

Please empower me to live for You.

I want to be like You.

I trust that You will guide me each day of my life.

I love You, Jesus.

Thank You, Lord for saving me.
