About Me

Shalom!

I am a wife and mother of two. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and my family with all of my heart.  Without them, nothing else would matter to me.  So that’s first.

Here is a bit about me and my background:

I have a numerous amount of interests, hobbies, passions, and things I could say that I am pretty good at and could help you with.  Up until ’07 I owned and operated  a web consulting company (website design, podcast consulting, internet marketing helps).  I put a LOT of energy and effort into developing those skill sets and I think I got compensated well for it during that phase of my life .

At the end of ’07 my second baby was born, and I soon after took up freelance writing more seriously.

Somewhere between my first baby and first business startup, I went back to school.  I hold a Bachelors degree in Child Development as well as a Masters degree in Interactive Technology from the University of Alabama.

Music:

I also love to play the piano, worship, and write and sing Christian music.  I have written a little over 50 songs.  None of them have been published as of yet.  I am hoping that will change one day soon.

Ministry:

As for ministry…I really have a heart for God’s women, so I decided to start up a few websites to assist in that vision.  I produced Christian Ladies Talk Radio (an internet based podcast of interviews and bible studies for Christian women), Christian Ladies Connect (ministry and online social outlet for Christian women), and became the founder, editor in chief, and columnist of Christian Ladies Connect Lifestyle Magazine.  Through online faith-building, encouraging teleseminars,  bible study podcasts, and a lifestyle magazine, my hope has always been to use the world wide web and social media to assist in raising up God’s army of women of destiny.

My motto at Christian Ladies Connect: helping women to “reach their destinies one day at a time”.

This blog is an extension of the ministry website, Christian Ladies Connect.  I am hoping it will bridge the gap and serve as a personal connection tool. I am also still toying with the idea of placing many of the podcast episodes, interviews, and other great resources here at the blog, once and for all. If you’ve been a faithful “follower” of mine any time since ’04, you’ll understand what I mean by “once and for all”!  My sites have probably seen more changes than I would like to admit.

At any rate, this blog’s purpose will ultimately be to help draw all women of God closer to the God of Shalom/Peace. I hope to encourage you, make you smile, uplift you, and even lead you deeper into the wells of truth and goodness Christ has in store for us.

Hopefully, by reading my blog you will feel the peace of God envelop you and lead you closer to His presence.
